Staff Council Volunteers with Pasture Cleanup in Princeton

On March 3, Staff Council Members Marilyn Hooks, Mary Hammons, Deloris Foxworth, and Megan Lucy assisted with pasture cleanup at the UK Research and Education Center in Princeton. The center was hit by the devastating tornados of December, 2021, and debris was scattered throughout the pastures. Since December, volunteers have been combing through the pastures to remove fence, building, and tree debris in order to make the fields safe again for cattle and farm machinery. It was hard work, and there is much more still to be done, but it felt good to come together as a team and support our staff, faculty, and students at Princeton.
